Project Overview
Rooftop Solar, Battery Storage and UPS for Commercial Building Energy Management
This project was developed for a savings bank building in Lhasa, China. The system combines rooftop photovoltaic generation, lithium battery energy storage and UPS backup power to support energy optimization and critical load reliability.
The project includes a 217.8kWp solar photovoltaic system connected to the bank’s low-voltage distribution room through a 0.4kV connection. A 250kW / 600kWh lithium battery energy storage system was added to optimize electricity usage, while the UPS power system supports critical load reliability.
Through PMS control, the power grid, renewable energy and storage batteries can work together to support solar self-consumption, grid-connected operation, off-grid operation and hybrid power supply needs.
